MNZ is conducting a survey of non-MNZ and ex-MNZ members to find out why this group of professional Massage Therapists don't join or renew with MNZ.

MNZ is seeking expressions of interest for the Executive Administrator role.

Pip challenges current and ex-members of MNZ, as well as Massage Therapists who have chosen not to join MNZ, to do something to show you have passion for your profession and help MNZ in its work to benefit OUR profession and industry here in New Zealand.

MNZ encourages the public to choose MNZ registered Massage Therapists. That way they can be reassured that their Massage Therapist has achieved industry-approved qualification(s), competence, experience, and that they are committed to high standards of practice and professionalism.

 The new site aims to educate the public about the many health and wellness benefits massage therapy, inform them about the benefits of choosing an MNZ Massage Therapist and support them to access high quality massage therapy through the online, searchable Find A Therapist directory.

 “If a small school in a small town in a small country at the bottom of the world can do this, so can anyone.” - Dr. Jo Smith, on the massage therapy degree program she has created in Invercargill, NZ. So much of what we heard at the International Massage Therapy Research Conference (IMTRC) was inspirational and motivating,. However, for me this keynote address on the last day - a time traditionally reserved for reflections on “what comes next?” - was a high point.
