There are three types of membership available, to join please select the membership type that best meets your situation and complete the form at the bottom of this page.

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT): Formally trained Massage Therapists

Student Massage Therapist (SMT):Student membership is FREE for all students studying Massage Therapy at an NZQA approved training institution.

 Affiliate (AFF): Affiliate members are businesses related to the massage industry but NOT individual Massage Therapists or massage businesses. Affiliate businesses involved in education are not necessarily endorsed by Massage Aotearoa New Zealand.

If you are a current MANZ member and are needing to RENEW, your renewal will happen automatically on payment of your membership fees due on 1 April. Please do not use the JOIN ONLINE process, this is only for new members. Please email membership if you have any questions about renewing your membership.

Please note: Starting from the March/April 2024 renewal cycle, the Registered Massage Therapist Annual Fee will be $250.
