A4 - Craig Newlands
Craig has nearly 20 years' experience working as a physiotherapist in both musculoskeletal private practice and for a variety of sporting organisations.
He is a two-time Olympic physiotherapist (London 2012, Rio 2016) and Commonwealth physiotherapist (Gold Coast 2018) and has travelled extensively to support athletes at many other international sporting competitions.
In 2010 Craig became the first full-time physiotherapist employed by High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) in the country.
Prior to starting his own physio and massage therapy clinic Craig was the lead physiotherapist for Rowing New Zealand based at Lake Karapiro. In 2015 he split his time between Rowing New Zealand and the National Training Centre at the Avantidrome, servicing high performance sport athletes and leading the physiotherapy and massage therapy providers for the region.
