MNZ Strategic Plan Zoom Meetings

Dear members, non-members and stakeholders,

A reminder that the second of three Strategic Plan Zoom meetings will take place this Sunday, February 28th at 7pm. Please email MNZ Vice-President, Christy Munro, for the Zoom link : vice-president@massagenewzealand.org.nz

The goal of these meetings is to go over MNZ's Strategic Plan. From this, we will discuss the creation of working groups to achieve these goals. We want to encourage members to join the working groups and move our profession forward. Please find the PowerPoint presentation below.

The floor will be opened to the participants to discuss or share observations on the plan. There will also be an opportunity to discuss any concerns people may have about our profession and MNZ's direction. The MNZ Executive Committee believe that it is important to listen to the stakeholders in our profession and work together to move forward in a direction that will benefit the profession in the long run. This is not a place for MNZ Executive Committee to defend previous actions or workings. Our goal is to listen, discuss and move forward.

The meetings will be lead by MNZ Vice-President, Christy Munro. All other Executive Committee members have agreed that if they do attend that it is only to listen and hold space. These meetings are for the stakeholders and for building a more inclusive MNZ team. Christy will be looking to create a space for feedback and discussion.

The date and time for the final Strategic Plan Zoom meeting is:

Tuesday, March 16th at 7pm

At this point, all meetings are following the same outline. The discussion may change depending on the comments, concerns or questions shared.

Please note that MNZ members will be able to claim CPD hours for attending the meeting(s).
