MNZ Strategic Plan Zoom Meetings

Dear members, non-members and stakeholders,

Massage New Zealand (MNZ) invites you to join one or all of three Zoom Strategic Plan meetings. The goal of these meetings is to go over MNZ's Strategic Plan. From this, we will discuss the creation of working groups to achieve these goals. We want to encourage members to join the working groups and move our profession forward.

The floor will be opened to the participants to discuss or share observations on the plan. There will also be an opportunity to discuss any concerns people may have about our profession and MNZ's direction. The MNZ Executive Committee believe that it is important to listen to the stakeholders in our profession and work together to move forward in a direction that will benefit the profession in the long run. This is not a place for MNZ Executive Committee to defend previous actions or workings. Our goal is to listen, discuss and move forward.

The meetings will be lead by MNZ Vice-President, Christy Munro. All other Executive Committee members have agreed that if they do attend that it is only to listen and hold space. These meetings are for the stakeholders and for building a more inclusive MNZ team. Christy will be looking to create a space for feedback and discussion.

The dates and times for the Zoom meetings are as follows:

Sunday, February 14th at 7pm

Sunday, February 28th at 7pm

Tuesday, March 16th at 7pm

At this point, all meetings will follow the same outline. The discussion that arises may change depending on the comments, concerns or questions shared. The meetings may also evolve if more information needs to be added to the outline.
