Greg Lynch - Dip Phty, Dip MDT, Dip MT, PGDiplomaRehab (Dist.), MNZCP (Manipulative Therapy)
Greg graduated from the Otago School of Physiotherapy in 1991. He completed the Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Dip MDT) in 1994 and the Diploma in Manipulative Therapy (Dip MT) in 1996. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation (Distinction) in 2022. He was recognised as an Advanced Practitioner with the NZ College of Physiotherapy (MNZCP). He is an International Instructor with the McKenzie Institute International and has been lecturing extensively with the Institute since 2004. He is a member of the Institutes Board of Trustees and a past member of the McKenzie Institute International (MII) Education Council. He has lectured throughout the world and has presented at numerous international conferences. He has been involved in several research papers including the EXPOSS studies (2019 & 2022), exploring the prevalence of spinal related extremity pain. He was also a co-author on a a systematic review titled ‘Excluding the Cervical Spine in patients presenting with primary shoulder pain’ in 2017 and a further paper titled ‘Examination of the neck when a patient complains of shoulder pain: a global survey of current practice’ published in 2019. Greg has been an accredited provider with ‘High Performance Sport New Zealand’ since 2000. He has worked in private practice since 1992 and is a Co-Director and senior physiotherapist of Inform Physiotherapy Limited and was a founding Director of Wellington Sports Medicine. He has managed athletes from the NZ7’s teams (men and woman), NZ Hockey (men and woman), NZ Netball and the NZ swim squad. He is a member of Physiotherapy NZ, NZ Manipulative Physiotherapists Association, McKenzie Institute NZ, NZ Pain Society, Occupational health Physiotherapy group and Sport Physiotherapy NZ. |
