COVID-19 Protection Framework & Vaccine Mandate Update

Earlier today we heard back from the Ministry of Health ('MOH'), and as promised we now pass this information on.
MOH confirmed that Massage Therapists are not required to be vaccinated, except in circumstances where working in a hospital or alongside health practitioners.
This means for most Massage Therapists vaccination is not required.
If you are working in a hospital or alongside health practitioners (designated premises) you will need to be vaccinated and a vaccination pass will be required when renewing your MNZ membership.
Our membership team may ask if you are working in an environment where you need to be vaccinated, unless you proactively provide that information when renewing.
We trust this removes any uncertainty or ambiguity from the information across the different websites and departments.
